Home's Favourite goodies are really awesome.

The Charcoal Durian Mooncake is the BEST of all which I have tasted.

Same goes for these Charcoal Pineapple Tarts.

The bamboo charcoal is supposed to be good for health by removing toxins and lowering acidity in the blood.

Also, these tarts are very much less sweet than the usual ones. In fact, they are a teeny bit sour, which I really like!

Highly recommended for those who don't like their tarts artificially and too sweet.

Matcha Cookies!

They do not scrimp on the matcha powder, which makes the cookies really fragrant and authentically matcha(:

Highly recommended for matcha lovers!!

A trip to Tiong Bahru wet market with Dad and Mom totally changed my perception of wet markets.

Below is the long queue 286 meat stall, while there is not a single person at the other adjacent meat stalls.When in doubt, just join in the longest queue! You won't go wrong.

Dad and Mom packing their loot in the trolley bag that everyone seems to be using (Dolphin brand).

And Mommy has this big chiller bag she got for $2 from a wholesaler that is really good at keeping her frozen buys chilled!

Next up was Fareast Flora!

I thought this was very unique- Lingzhi plant at $58.

Still didn't have enough of plants at the nursery.

Bought this mini tree from NTUC Fairprice while grocery shopping and I carried this all the way home.

Incredible Hulk me.

Centipede Scare

Meant to enjoy a cuppa coffee at Barracks at Dempsey after our heavy lunch at Long Beach.

Ended up with no coffee, but two holes in Wiki's left foot.

Works of a 25cm by 8cm ginormous centipede.

If only we had not wandered deeper into Barracks and simply settled for a seat near the entrance.

Life really catches you by surprise, or shock.

Well, at least now I know that centipede bites are usually harmless.

Immediately wash it thoroughly with soap and water, and apply a cold compress (a bag of ice will do) in 10 mins intervals.

Then hope for the best.

Decided not to put any pics up because it is really gross.
